Been clamming at the mouth of of Bodega Bay for a few years now.  Gotten plenty of horsenecks and the occasional geoduck.  Recently moved to HMB area and was wondering how the clamming is in the area.  Not looking for someones honey hole, but some information on common, well-known spots might be helpful to start.
Thanks!

I've seen people clamming inside the harbor by the left jetty during low tide. Not sure if they were successful!

I've seen people successfully clamming inside the harbor on the North Side of the jetty.

I wouldn't advise eating any of those though since I here that it is pretty polluted in there.

We popped and ate oysters off rocks in Oceanside harbor I think it was. Lobster trip, got there in the afternoon to a minus tide. Grilled up tons of oysters and waited for tide to roll in with darkness. Prob how I got cancer...
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

I'm getting hungry. Just thinking bout it... too lazy to clam. Nothing like eating fish with fish sauce, I love that stuff.
