Forbay 2 weeks ago

Weekend before last decided to go fish at the for bay  with my dad drove out there from Seaside only to get denied at the gate for a tiny drip of water in my dad's Kayak hull,  so we decided to fish off the bank anyways at about 8 AM   Had a few follows on top water but no takers  so we both switch to a jerk bait and shortly after that we're hooking up no keepers but at least we were getting some action caught a total of about 4 fish each none over 15 inches but it was cool with usbetter than getting skunked.      I wanted to get a video of my dad catching fish so I asked him for his phone and you'll see what happens next in the video I posted 😅

thnx for the report. Bummer that you guys got denied. I just make sure to wipe it down inside and out before heading there. The last time, I was there I was a little worried since it was a little damp inside but a little bs and having the dog being cute gave her a little distraction lol

 

I think the lady was having a rough day or something super frustrating 😑 but note taken I might have to bring my dogs next time I don't even mess with my kayak at the forbay any more I just bring my paddle board because I don't want to get denied lol but my pops is stuck with the yak

Don't feel bad, between me and LBsteve, we have been denied 3-4 times at the forbay or d-damn. All for very minor stuff, but hey cant have zebra mussels!
