Just talked to Duane and we are set with bait for the morning. As of 2145hrs he had twenty count and had another hour to go. Thanks Bud.

Looking at the tide tables it looks like you were tossing the net into ankle deep water?  Paul and I went to MLK Park at low tide once and didn't get anything so we walked about 2 blocks to the bridge over Pardee St.  There was at least some deeper water over there but since it was new territory, we weren't sure if there were net snatching rocks lurking just underneath the surface.  So we started out over the middle of the bridge and worked our way north.  We got a few here and there but then Paul located the "school".  I think he got 15 or 20 in one cast and then we had plenty.  A cast netters dream...one toss and its time to fish!

Check it out next time if you hit MLK Park at low tide.  I think there's street parking nearby as well.  It sucks to carry a bucket loaded with water/bait over any distance.

BTW, I always bring my waders and have had to "rescue" my net a few times.  Once I tore a good sized hole in my net but it was easy enough to repair it.  Unlike yours, mine is nylon not mono.
