Kayak Thigh Straps $20

I've had these sitting around forever and haven't used them myself.  $20 and they're yours!

Are these for drowning?

It's for stabilizing the kayak, and some people can perform a kayak roll with it.

Thigh straps give you way more control over your kayak when paddling in and out through surf, surfing waves, sidesurfing in breaking waves, etc.  I'm a whitewater kayaker, and I sometimes feel like a marble rolling around on a plate when sitting on a sit-on-top kayak.  Thigh straps can eliminate that precarious sensation.  I have added padeyes to both my 13' Trident and my 13' Revolution for thigh straps.  It only takes a moment to clip them into place before heading in or out through surf.  I stash them inside the kayak when I'm out on the water.
