Congrats Nate.  Nice one.  You deserved it!

So how you like your Trevala?  I see it did the trick.

Nate... you caught that fish at the same spot I told JTF about.  I've caught 2 butts and a couple stripers in that area near the flag pole.

Looks like the bite has started. The next couple of weeks should only get better.
I suspect we're going to see some ARW stripers soon.
You guys have no idea how stoked I am for an early run!  I've been yelling at the weatherman on TV whining about how little rain we've gotten for weeks now.

I hate you nate!!! :smt012  Didn't even call me or nothin!
Sheeeiiit, I thought you'd be busy dontaing skin to the skate park.

it was windy yesterday? what was the time?
There was a slight breeze earlier in the morning, but it died when the clouds burned off around noon.

have you ever nailed a legal Butt on a Rebel?
Nope.  I was trolling the rebel hoping for striper.

1st 'but in the AOTY?
Unfortunately not.  Haven't entered.

So how you like your Trevala?  I see it did the trick.
Nate... you caught that fish at the same spot I told JTF about.  I've caught 2 butts and a couple stripers in that area near the flag pole.
The Trevala kicked arse!  Got it last year in time for a trip to the Bean, but this is the first (of many, I hope) hali its brought up from the depths.
There's definately something special about that spot.  The majority of fish I've caught out there came from that area.  Yet I continue to paddle out to the end of the wall every time I'm there...
