Dated October 17...

I think so.  There have been scattered reports of BF sightings and a few reports of some caught.

I doubt they caught it on one of the rental boats though  :smt003

Word is 8-10 miles out, off davenport.

Although the capitola boat & bait report says top gun 80, which is a boat out of San Diego.

Top Gun 80 returned on 10/16/16 from a 2.5 day trip with 3 Bluefin Tuna, 44 Yellowfin Tuna, 65 Rock fish, 70 California Yellowtail.

Pretty sure they caught them on the top gun 80

Maybe they did catch them on the Top Gun 80 and took them down there to clean them?

Now that I've looked at the picture closer, the fish on the right has a number tag on its gill plate.  I'd say SD caught for sure.

That's stupid. Who would catch a fish one place then bring it to another place for a picture?

Yeah, put them on ice and brought them home to filet...Common practice.

(Got me excited for a minute, but with the ocean conditions today, I really didn't think anyone was offshore for BF.)  A few have ben sighted.  One was caught before this storm.  Unknown what the aprés storm situation will be.  Fingers are crossed....

Plus, those are YF I believe, not BF.
