2017 Hobie Outback Review & Build

Hope these help out, they're all pretty comprehensive (i.e., LONG), but we wanted to capture things step-by-step.  We filmed an Intro to Downriggers on the water yesterday, I'll post that link up later this week.

great video of all the install!!

I used the ram ball holder with the downrigger and notice it would slip. Since installing the h-rail in front, its rock solid!

I also installed the h-rail on the right so I can install the downrigger as well, so far its been great however putting the nut and washer was a pain in the butt lol

I still need to replace the steel cable from the DR to braid. I'm looking forward to your DR on the water video

Glad you guys are finding them useful! We'll have that on-the-water downrigger clip up soon, and will work on the LED lighting vid next, then a PowerPole install video.
