Greetings everyone. I recently picked up an Ocean Kayak Malibu to putter around the river with my wife and daughter. I wasn't really thinking about fishing with it, but my brother-in-law took me out to Ocean Cove with a guide and we had a great time, caught a lot of fish, and now I'm hooked. Of course now I have lots of stupid questions which I'm sure have been answered many times in these forums, so I'm off to use the search function...

Thanks for cluing me in on the stripers! Nice to know I don't have to drive all the way up the coast to get some good fishing.

Greetings back from Petaluma, I just moved here a month or so ago... I don't know the river but there are a lot of places close by on the ocean to bang fish.
