I generally agree with what Urban Dictionary says, "An expression of disconcern. It generally means that the speaker does not care about what has recently been said or done."

But now I'm being told perhaps there is an age gap issue and different definitions apply.  Educate me.

Based on his attitude and the way that kid has been going about things, I'd see it more of dismissing your comment in a childish way.

He probably just added the lol because his best friend CDM told him it makes everything ok to say.

It depends upon how loosely you want to use the word "contributed".  It's probably fair to say that nobody actually contributed anything to anything with the existence of this thread. 

Unless we somehow manage to get cdm banned.  Then it will all have been worthwhile.

As a millennial under the age of 25, I agree with this interpretation of psh.

For you older folks, the number of s's used in psh can add additional emphasis, but one too many s's and you just sound hella gay
