fewlio.... dont sell it!!!

They wont be illegal.... just do one of the 2 things to make it legal:

1.) install a Patriot Bullet Button to make it so you have to open the upper to remove the magazine.

or,

2.) make it "featureless", by removing all the 'evil features' that classify it an an "Assault Rifle":
  - remove the Flash Suppressor and install a muzzle break.
  - fix the adjustable stock by pinning it down or replace it with a fixed stock.
  - install an adapter grip piece that does not allow your thumb to wrap around the pistol grip.
  - remove any front grip (AFG are okay).

*** But DO NOT register it as an "Assault Rifle" as requested!!! ***
If you do, yes you will be in compliant; but you will never be able to sell of transfer the AR again (except out of state). This is how they plan on getting rid of Assault Weapons in California, by attrition; the next generation of gun owners will no longer be able to purchase them or have them grand-fathered from our generation. So again, do not register them; spend the $50, purchase a new bullet button and your are now in compliant.

OR, register it. Then put every scary item an assault rifle can have, on it. Make that f*&ker Freddie Kruger!

After 12/31/2016, it maybe damn near impossible to acquire another one.... if you can find a way, try to hand on to it and secure funds for the A5 from a different source....

Passing on in CA is going bah-bye in the next ten years anyhow, mark my words. Good thing I have family in Nevada and Montana to take them.
I was joking on reg them. If you do that, it is VERY specific where you can take them to shoot, and how they must be transported. Forget hunting with it.
