Ps....why the melodramatic "farewell cruel world" post?

If you're gonna leave why not just leave?

Damnit.....im slipping, I missed all the bashing, you guys are already virtually hugging poor little snowflake. I'll try to catch up and promIselin to watch my screen closer next time.

Beat it kook.
Buy a freakin chart.
Use the search.
Bye.

I'm eager to get results quick and put 200% effort 200% dedication and all of the above.

That's part of the problem, you want results quick without really putting in any effort.  Saying your 200% all in sounds pretty ridiculous when after a couple days here you're throwing in the towel without ever using the search button.  Even more ridiculous when people have given you golden responses and they just weren't enough for you.  Sounds like you want instant gratification.

Also Eddie and everyone else I'm willing to put in the miles time and effort.

With miles, effort and time come fish.  You've caught none and now you're blaming us. If you were really about it, you would have responded to not catching fish by putting more miles under your belt and time on the water. You're words do not reflect your actions or attitude.

Here's my advice.

Drop entitled attitude.

Realize you really haven't put in any effort.

Walk before you run (learn how to safely operate in the pacific)

Understand that you have gotten good advice.

After time and effort, the fish will be almost automatic.

Be happy you left Texas.

Come on man.  I really does sound like you are blaming the screen watchers.  Put 300% into it and take responsibility!   :smt006

BTW, ex-kayaker is our resident heckler.  He tells it how it is, with his own sense of style and humor.  We all can't wait to read his postings to get a chuckle, hoping it isn't us he's making fun of this time, knowing full well our time will come around.  But most of the time there is a foundation of truth in what he says.

  My .02 cents worth.

In my tiny world of forums (Mainly this one, maybe a truck site and a few bushcrafting sites) Only this site, NCKA, put together funds to help a one of our own to the tune of $16k! through the generosity of the site and for the love of the individual I'm speaking of.  :smt010 How many online communities have you associated yourself with that have come anywhere close to something this epic?
I guess your sticking around, 7 pages worth in quick order?  Give the site a chance.
Trust in the fact that if you do attend any of multiple events put on or sponsored by NCKA ( Check the hook-up page) and you don't have proper safety gear, people will let you know!  Also, if you don't have the right tackle for a particular species your after, someone will gladly offer up tackle for you.

This wasn't dramatic?   :smt044 :smt044   I haven't been here long but you are the first to ever write a farewell like this, not because you're moving, but because you felt entitled to something obviously.

I feel like NCKA is full of screen watchers

Yeah, no disrespect huh?  You came to that conclusion all by yourself after 8 days?

I still think you should stick with your initial gut instinct, we are bunch of screen watchers and won't be much help.  There are far better forums for you to be a part of, just don't pick this one, its no good.

If you ain't first, you're last.
