feels like winter for me already. been trying to refrain from seeing any hookups and reports, as i will be out of commission for the next couple weeks.  simply fishing will be a tough one.  doc says no kayaking, but we'll see.  either way, ill be there to chill!

not to be an ass, but this has got to be the biggest attention-whoring thread ive seen on ncka.

Wtf? Did I pass out and wake up in February?

You woke up to a bunch of jackasses partying it up someone doesn't feel loved enough to stay here on NCKA.

To me, NCKA kind of reminds me of when I first got into bank-fishing for trout.  I would find my spot on the lake, say good morning to anyone around me, cast my line, and sit there quietly.  Before you get a bite, nobody cares about talking to you and nobody wants to be your friend.  When you catch a fish...everyone wants to talk to you, they want to know what bait/tactics you were using, and now you have new friends and the rest of the day is a party.

Not me. Im the guy that watches u catch a fish waits for u to reel it up and the casts into your spot.  :smt002

Try saying good morning to everyone on the pacifica pier when the fish are biting.   :smt012

Okay, from a still member of NCKA who is in Texas, I will chime in.

I met a lot of the group here when I first started this madness (nope still haven't gone to professional therapy) and have come to know and love this group of crazy people. I say that in a good way.

A lot of knowledge was passed on to me hanging with them and fishing with them. That is the only way to get to know who and what the NCKA is all about. If I still lived there I would be attending more events since I am retired, but here, I still stress to all the  new people I meet on kayaks that groups like these are wealth of knowledge on what to do, how to do  it and when. I learned so much from this group I am dangerous!!!  :smt003

Being so far away I miss the group. I miss the "Almost all Asian Crew" and I miss my friends I have met while being with the NCKA. It is the best group of kayak fisherpeople I know and I have many fond memories of all the trips and fishing times I had.

Good for you newb. It only took you a week to realize these guys are a bunch of screen watching dicks. Took me my mid twenties, 1500 posts, a brutal roast thread and countless FM1 cheapshots to the kidneys to come to that  conclusion. GTFO while you can!!! :smt006
