Does anyone know of a location where I can launch my yak on Morrison Creek? I've been looking on Google Maps but haven't been able to find a for sure launch site.

Also, what is up with the lake that Morrison Creek dumps into (the cords 38.434351, -121.498492)? The area looks super fishie!

Mather lake has full fishing access... We did a HOW event there. Nice, hard to get bit though... The creek is small. unknown as to fishing it....
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Hmmm... that accesses is a bit too far east for the area I want to hit. A perfect location would be between Franklin Blvd and the Sac River.

Morrison Creek or Stone Lake for the most part is a State park and no fishing or access is allowed unless you check in with Beach Lake Stables.

So you just go up to them and ask if you can have access to the creek?
