Its not easy to install.  I got my back seat fabric warranty replacement yesterday from Adventure Sports (thanks Carl).  I had to ask my buddy P-Sherman to help out, it took of 2 of us to put in place.    :smt006

Another pair of hands definitely was needed.

A little tricky but we got it done!

was it a bad batch of seat covers, or did they improve/update the design?

The replacement fabric looks exactly the same to me, no clue if they had a bad batch.  I am waiting to hear back about the bottom fabric, also filed a warranty claim on that.

Its sagging downwards pretty bad and there are tears where the screws keep hold them in place.  I am 185 lbs and use the seat 2 to 3x a month.
All these flaws are showing after less than 2 years of regular use.  You heavier guys keep an eye out on yours.

Thanks for sharing! i'm sure eventually i'm gonna need to change out the mesh too. A few beers and shots usually helps with these projects.

the area where the bolts meet the fabric is where mine looks like it's tearing

The fabric on my bottom seat is sagging and rubbing on the legs that extend out to make it a beach chair.  The fabric is wearing out on these areas.  I zip tied a piece of hard foam for now to prevent more wear and tear.
