Reposting for Anna in case there are any divers interested in Abalone research.  Class this weekend in Ft Bragg.

---------------------------------

Hey divers,

Reef Check California (RCCA) is holding an Abalone research class this weekend 7.16-7.17 in Fort Bragg. One day will be spent in the pool and classroom learning about abalone management, how to 'read' the shell of an abalone, and RCCA abalone protocols. The second day will be spent beach diving practicing data collection and finally collecting data on the last dive. Once certified divers will be able to collect data on personal dives and report the data to RCCA staff.

Participants must be scuba certified with 30 lifetime dives and 6 dives within the last year.

For more information please contact Anna Neumann at [email protected]
