Gold Beach Intel?

Headed up the coast to southern Oregon next week. Anybody got any experience or guidance to offer?

Saw this and responded on nwka. 

Buzz bombs have worked in the past off the jetty for me. Go lighter than heavier. If you hook a big one flag a boat down and they will sometimes pick you up and help chase the fish down.

Also try  for peach at the mouth there used to be some big ones.
