Hookup Shelter cove 4th of July

We are going to Shelter Cove for the 4th everyone welcome to join in. 4th at the Cove is off the charts !!!!

Don't forget to take some earplugs so you can at least get a little sleep during the night.   

It's not that bad !!!

I don't think I can make it until the 5th. 

A person is safer driving new years night than on the 4th of July.  After too many close calls I no longer leave town on the 4th (or long weekend of the 4th).

Just an FYI,
With another recent slide, and the predicted high tide on the fourth, it is rumored that the harbor district will be limiting beach access during the holiday.

Eric we have site 45, stop by after fishing for a beer ! Can't wait to get back to the cove.

I'll be there with my wife. No kayak, but I am trying to hop on a half day charter just to get some time on the water.

We're headed over Friday, taking the easy route and got a room in Arcata and will be in the lagoons/Trinidad area to play.  Hope the forecast improves a bit!

Haha, nice. Doesnt look great for going out, but I will keep in touch. It is my wife and my first wedding anniversary weekend and I don't know how she would feel about me going out kayaking (though a charter was approved). I will have my rods and tackle with me in case though.
