Hi guys does anyone have any reviews with the cuda 14? Was wondering because there is a used one that I might want to do a trade off. It seem to have the things I been looking for. Speed, stability, and versatility. Anything would help thanks in advance ALOHA!!

Lots of reviews exist out there BUT it all depends on YOU.  Stuff like where you paddle, size/weight of paddler, distance you paddle, etc, etc, etc, etc ... it becomes hard to say that any one boat is perfect for the next guy because it is perfect for me.  I think you'll hear this OVER & OVER again ...  test drive, test drive, test drive!

I fished for a year out of a Cuda 14... and I fished hard that year.  I haven't tried a Cuda since 2013, and I don't know which improvements have been made. Here is my review: The Cuda 14 was comfortable, more comfortable than anything that I had paddled previously. That's primarily because it was one of the few kayaks at the time that had a lawn chair seat. The deck layout was nice, and I like the big tank well and hatches. That's about where my love affair with the Cuda ended. It was too heavy for me to cartop solo without hurting my back, it is relatively slow, and while it has good primary stability, it has very little secondary stability. While I never flipped it in the ocean, every noob I lent it to took a swim.

I can see how the Cuda 14 would be a good kayak to own if you like to stand and cast in flat water, but I prefer something lighter, faster and more versatile.

I will add that every time we fished together in the ocean you wanted to quit long before I did due to the instability of the kayak in rough water. I was on a 28" wide kayak too. You would always say "don't you think we should be headed in?".

I had a Jackson Cuda 12. It was not stable in my opinion, was fairly slow and weighed a ton.

I sold it after the second paddle.

I replaced it with a Trident 13, and now an Ultra 4.3.

Another one seriously worth a demo is the Wilderness Systems Thresher 140 or 155 if you are looking for a longer ocean yak.
