The molds would allow anyone to mass-produce the artwork that these artists produced, and would likely de-value the artwork already owned by people. I wasn't able to find anything under a cursory search of those two artist names? (someone link maybe?) I understand protecting an investment, but I hate the thought of art being destroyed. How sweet would it be to give these to a ceramics program at a school or junior college and let a whole new generation of artists experiment with them? (these guys used to have a great ceramics program  http://www.losmedanos.edu/art/contact.aspx)
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

I really hope this isn't an unfortunate case of "let's go out in the wilderness and shoot guns at our trash".

I have a great imagination but never went there.  I have been out in the woods shooting and it is so much fun and a great way to make sure all is in working order or for sighting in.  I always clean up afterwards and usually clean up some from the others who are the lazy jackasses that make all look bad.  Same as in the ocean.

I wish this wasn't the first place my imagination went, but sadly it was. Broken bottles/trash and accompanying shell casings have come the norm in FAR to many slices of wilderness.

Eiboh - Please don't take this as an accusation if that wasn't your intention...

Alex I didn't think it was an accusation. The original post was vague on details so understand why your imagination went wild.  Decoder ring really is needed.

Eiboh, please tell us if that was your plan because I will have Alex pick my lottery numbers next time.  It's like wheel of fortune when someone sees one letter and guesses a the whole sentence.  Just badass skills/imagination.

I think I need a decoder ring...

That makes me chuckle, I knew exactly what he was saying, I had no clue what YOU meant?  :smt005

Ha! It doesn't take THAT much imagination to picture people shooting guns at their waste and leaving messes behind. All it takes is a camping trip to any spot in CA that doesn't actively prohibit shooting.

But I'm still happy to buy you some lottery tickets if you give me some cash... :)

time to clear the air dad was an artist and this is his art and molds of his artwork . he passed away just shy of 10 years ago. mom wants the molds to be broken and put into the landfill unless someone in our family wants them or could profit from them.
she doesn't want anyone else to profit from them. couple of trophies and a couple to raffle off for a good cause would be acceptable.
like Make-a-Wish Foundation for a kid that has terminal cancer to go fishing before he or she passes away. something like that would be acceptable with my mom as I'm sure it would with my dad if he was still with us :smt001

You may want to contact some of the older dive clubs.  Doesn't Cencal host a krupinski pole spear tournament?

Im sure they'd dig a couple cool trophies.  Bet theyd like to hear some stories about your dads adventures too.

That whitehall is a cool sleigh, what condition are the molds in?  Could a board be popped from them?

I am scabbing off of kilns from studios I visit until I can build my own studio, but I am currently working on getting into a certain location in west sac, not sure if it will be 6 weeks or 6 months until I can get into this studio and start working, but if the timing isn't important to you, I will get them fired one way or another. Are they greenware or bisque now? Are they glazed or need glazing?
