This is my last weekend as a bachelor.  I'm getting married very soon and the fiance has given me the okay to take off all weekend.  Planning to camp, kayak, fish, and try for dungies before the season ends.

Anyone else going to be out there?  Any tips on where?  I haven't dropped traps at Doran for a few years.  What else is there to target?  RF?  Halibuts?

Planning on launching by 6am.

Kevin

Thanks Eric.  I saw your report on HBO, and while I initially wanted to make it up to Humboldt, I just think it would maximize my fishing take if I drove up there.

However, would love to have you guide me someday when I plan a trip up there.

150 yds from shore and 60 yds from the jetty and you should be fine.
Congrats on tying the knot.
Hopefully this won't be your last outing on a kayak.  :smt002

Put kayaking in your vows.  No bait and switch allowed.

Have a good time and congrats on the marriage thing.

+++++++±+++1 on the above. Realise anything you want to do is going to take attention away from her. Which is what she doesn't  want. Find balance and compromise, true compromise. It's always going to be work. Good luck and get out there when you can.
