Changing battery connector

I have two fishfinder batteries, which are almost new, with one of connectors broken off. For some reason I can't find any description/video on how to replace them, which, probably, means it's either trivial or impossible (or I don't know what to look for). I assume I'll need to crack battery's top..?

On the same note - if it's not feasible to fix, but for some reason you'd like these batteries let me know, I'd rather not throw (recycle) them away.

P.S. Batteries were always in garage or a dry bag (not box) inside the Trident Ultra's pod, i.e. not the wettest place (but not in a waterproof box either - this is what I'll try next)

Can you post a picture of the broken connector?

You can repair that.

To prevent that in the future, rinse off your battery in freshwater after use.
