Are you talking about the foam insert cup style piece? I've always made mine. Super easy to make I think I have some extras I made for the 83/200 HDI trans... If I find it I can ship em to you or I can tell you how to make one...

Yes the foam insert. I am going to see if I can get some this weekend. If I can't I will reach out to you or maybe drive out to the Headwaters to get some.

Thanks!

I made mine out of a foam kneeling pad from the gardening section of Home Depot.

That is a great idea? Did you just use goop or do you fill it with water?

I cut out the hole slightly smaller than the transducer, so it fits nice n' snug. Use a REALLY sharp utility knife. After cutting, I gooped the foam in place. Then just dribble a little water in there and wedge the transducer in place.

I didn't have good luck with goop between the transducer and hull.

i use the same foam knee pads from home depot as alex does.  its a little more difficult to find one the right thickness though.  i goop the edges then fill with water.
