Kayak Leash Poll

On the ocean my paddle is always leashed. So if I fall over, I would be attached to the kayak as long as I hold on to the paddle. In bad conditions, I am always prepared to brace, so the paddle is never out of my hands.

In the surf, I unleash the paddle. So if I get dumped, I can get away from my kayak and not get run over by it. And as before, the paddle is never out of my hands.
