What a disappointment 5 days after placing my order i receive an email from West Marine saying sorry no longer available even though I had a confirmed order number.  Talk about false advertising

I had the same think happen on the buoy deal a month ago.  The clearance stuff takes some alternative efforts in the system when there are no more to be had when excessive orders are placed.  The ordering system is robust but the "backroom" system is older but still used by all the major retail players as I understand it.  The cost to change it out must outweigh the few quirks.
