Thanks all for the warm welcome.

SF_fisher we should definitely link up one of these days. The extra daylight is killer! I normally fish 2 or 3 days after work during the week around the bay for stripers or on the nearby jettys for lings. We try and camp/hit the coast most weekends as well.

Rippin lips definitely will if I'm down in the Santa Cruz area. We were actually supposed to hit capitola and rent a skiff last weekend, but the a arm on my truck broke the day before so that was that.

Thanks Dale and sure. I start by getting nice and doped up with bonine pills atleast 24 hours before. Cut off the drinking early the day before to insure there's no hangover lingering when it's go time. Eat a couple pieces of plain toast in the morning well before getting on the water and then that's it till I'm done fishing. An empty stomach is key. No coffee. Also one of the biggest keys, as mentioned by chopper, is having all my rigs good and ready to go. If I break off, at most I have to tie on another barrel swivel and I'm back in it.

Thanks for the info, seasickness is something I've only had a couple times but I always like to know what works for others.

Over the years I've developed a pre dive prep that really helped, but had to change it when I quit drinking, :smt044
