I was super shallow...maybe 5 FOW and just laying on the surface for both fish.

In case you were actually wondering how close he was to the shore, here's a couple extra pics.  The dark shadows in the water are the baitfish.  I was up north of him and hadn't actually seen him.  I started walking back and saw the bait and some fish working them, thats when i saw Jim in the water too.
