Friday morning I was on my way to work early am.I jumped on the freeway as normal not accounting for the down pour. Upon merging in to the fast lane my truck hydroplaned.Catching my quarter panel on the center divide and sending me down the freeway sideways (Thank God no one else was on the road) coming to rest head on to the guard rail on the far side. The front bumper is an easy replace. The rear bumper easy replace . the quarter panel on the other hand not so much. My question is to you autobody guys, is about the cost of this repair. My insurance is not going to pay and I am all out of pocket on this one. I don't know if it can be repaired or if it's a replace panel type thing but I am going to look for estimates starting tomorrow. I would like to have a honest ball park figure to start with. Thank you, Ted .

I had a hit and run on the same area on my Chevy Silverado last year.  Insurance paid $2100 to get it fixed

This looks like it'll be more costly, sorry to say.

The truck is 11 years old with 160k on the clock . don't think it would be cost effective to put 6k+ in to it. I have had it since new and it has been very good . would like to get a few more years out of the old girl.most of the parts I can get for just over 1k but the paint and metal work idk. I hate geico, untill I get parts this will have to do.

Get an estimate,

Craig would be a great place to start,

with that in hand, weigh your options, cost vs partial fix (bumpers only) vs the (embarassment?) of driving it like that while you think about it.

But definitely get that estimate, it's info you need at the moment, may be better or worse than you expect, you may also be offered options that aren't apparent at the moment.

I don't have one but Titans are great trucks.

Look in to the cost of getting a new bed at an auto wrecker. May be the way to go.
