It was great day to be on the water. Not the best bite, but we all got some nice fish. Adam and I caught fish throughout the day till 5pm.

Side note- Large mysterious swirl of water 10' off the starboard bow of Hobie Dave's kayak in the morning.

Sounds like the BIG Ling that got away to me.   :smt003  Thanks for the report guys.  It's good to see somebody getting to fish the salt.

Fairly slow bite for me but did acquire several dinners. Fished from TC to OC and back then chatted with guys in front of TC for a bit before leaving. My FF went out 5 minutes after launch, bad lead connections from battery, so fished blind. When the bite is on having no FF in that area is not a problem but when looking for the best under water structure to maximize hookup chances it became an impediment. I hope that we get a kelp crop this year. Without one many small rock fish are unlikely to survive to adulthood.
