Thanks for the lead Jason,
What an awesome deal.  Let's get Bill to comment on this.  Anything we should know about this deal, Bill?  What other accessory should I get to go with this unit.  Is there enough items in the box to do a full installation?

I'm not bill but I have this exact unit.. Except I have the larger 50/200 transducer.. Everything is in the box, only thing you'll need are some wire caps (the type that you fish wire through, I got mine at west marine), some sae 14awg quick connects (2 of them for quick disconnect of battery), marine grade heat shrink and female to female 14awg couplings... I even added wire to the length of the power cord because where I mounted the FF and where I stored my battery were longer then the provided Lowrance power wire.

It comes with a mount, I used the stock mount on one of my tarpons as it fit perfect for the location I needed it in.. However with my malibus I use the ram Lowrance mount, I actually use he hobie branded mount because the bottom mount design is a two bolt and is sleeker, then the traditional circular ram mount.  The light duty is cheaper, made of composite material and is light, not to mention it has held up for a year of abuse and still seems to be brand new (I wash my stuff off after every trip) but that's about it..

I cut the extra wire that is not needed for kayaks at the plug end and put a dab of black silicone to cover the exposed cut wire and protect it.. You'll be good to go!

Austin,
Thanks for the word of wisdom.  Going to order my tonight.  Is the warranty plan worth while.  I usually never believe buying protection plan.  But with Marine stuff, perhaps it's a good idea.

Unit is good to go.  Austin pretty much stole my thunder  :smt002 :smt044. 83/200 transducer is fine unless you are really into salmon trolling most of the time then consider 50/200

Absolutely buy the two year. I had my mark 4 go out, they replaced it with this one.. Then I had another mark 4 go out and they replaced it with the chirp.. No questions asked just paid for a new protection on those units.. Worth every penny they aren't waterproof but water resistant, you use it on a kayak, you never know what will happen...

Oh and another item to consider putting in the cart is the sun screen for it... The screens are pretty easy to scratch while unloading and packing with all your gear..

I'll be heading towards SC on Weds.  Taking my Mutant Vehicle with me to get the hydraulic hoses made in SC.  Let's hook up then if you're around.  Text me.

Just got my FF and was surprised to see it included the sun cover.  I was about to order one, lucky I didn't!

Thanks to Jason, I just got my FF.  It also had a Sun Cover too.  I also got the 2 year extended warranty.  The package came out to less than a couple of hundred.    What a deal.
