In a kayak rod length is basically whatever you can get around the bow of your kayak (if fish goes under kayak) but also not so big that it's hard to land the fish. 6'6-7' would be that for the majority of people.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.

Always looking for new people to fish with!

I usually shy away from tackle advice, I don't fish near as much as most of these guys,

But I do have a Tiger LITE 10-25 #line wt rod.

IMHO that's not a good choice for what you want, too lite, especially the upper half of the rod. This would also be a really poor choice for sharks and rays.

Most here have been mentioning the regular Tiger rods and a few Trevalas mixed in, these rods have allot more backbone that the Tiger Lite 10-25.

I also have the Lite 14-40, but haven't fished it.

My goto is a Trevala 6'6" MH, basically I use it for everything from rockfish to sturgeon, sharks, n rays. might be a little heavy that's may taste.

I used to use the Ugly Stik Tiger Lite 7' H MODEL # BWCL220070.

Easier to bring around the front of my kayak and great fast action, strong enough to handle sharks, rays, lings and light enough for salmon and stripers.

Check my pic.

Btw, I've got 3 of these cuz it's what I have my kids use, too, when they go with me.

Narrow model Penn Squidder will last a lifetime and can be found very cheaply.  Don't spend a shit ton of money, there is no reason to.

That's the 14-40 line wt model, like I said I have one never fished it, looks and feels suitable.

Ugly stick also make a couple of tiger lite jigging models. Two in spinning and two casting.  I just got one but have not fished with it yet but seems like will become my favorite quickly. I had a tiger lite med casting which I felt not stiff enough for my liking so traded it out for a jigging 6'3"
