I have previous commitments that are tentative, but is there a last minute sign up date if my plans should change? I understand I won't be getting a shirt. Thanks y'all!

My understanding is as long as you bring food and beer you can just show up the morning of and fish with everybody. You may not get the lure package or be entered in the competition, but you will be welcome to join in the fun.

Totally! Any day out fishing and hanging out with my NCKA peeps is a great day!

I'll be there too with a 9 and 7 yo.  We'll roll in Friday night.  Hope finding a spot isn't too hard.

I just got my kayak this past weekend.  So, now I can stop lurking and start kayaking with you guys.

So, I understand that shirt is out of the question.

But how is the camp site situation?
Do I just contact the camp ground and ask for a single site?
I suppose if camp sites are full, I could spend a night in my minivan as well.

As you can tell, I am completely new to this whole NCKA meetup.
And quite psyched!

Campsites are first come first served, so just show up. Normally they don't sell out this time of year. Worst case scenario, there are other places to camp fairly close to Ocean Cove or make a day trip out of it.
