Let's hear it for the guys over at Pro Kayak Fishing. They just dropped a sweet Raymarine Dragonfly 4 Pro w/Navionics!

After heated discussions with Ruben, he is opting to change the event date to Oct 1st & 2nd.....


 

 

The guys at OC seen to like NCKA, I asked if I could drop off my trailer a week in advance and they said "absolutely!". The storage fee for a month might be step, but I'll give them 60 bucks for the week if I don't have to pull it home to sac and back the following weekend

It's getting close and I can't wait to come in early with no lures!

C'mon man who holds a fishing tourney on the opening day of deer season. next year please remember that there is a magic " open " weekend between the close of archery and the open of rifle that would be PERFECT to hold this tourney on. If I can fill my tag though next weekend I hope to be there. What is the cap on entries?

I feel ya Scooter, but there are A LOT of other factors 

 

As far as Cap goes, I have raised it this year to 150 but if you register after Sept 3rd. you may have to settle for a large t-shirt as production needs to start by then.

I've never paddled a kayak before much. Is it pretty simple? Id like to try if it is but also no paddle kayak.

The Outback paddles ok. Just put the plug into the drive well.  You don't have to paddle far to get on the fish at Ocean Cove.  You can get pointers on paddling technique from YouTube and/or from the folks at the launch. Just do it!
