Introductions

Greetings all.  I'm just getting into the sport after being a land-lubbing shore angler for many years.  I'm hoping to get out and do some fishing in fresh and salt water, and hopefully meet some good folks along the way. What I REALLY want is to get my hands on some of those big Salt Point lings that have snapped my line at the base of the cliff over the years Look forward to getting to know the group.

I know the feeling of sitting on the rocks or shore and wishing I could cast a little further, knowing more and bigger fish were just out of reach. 
I also got tired of donating so much terminal gear to the rocks below Pigeon Point Lighthouse. 

I really want to go up to the north coast for a fish and dive weekend.
