I've searched the past post to no avail....

Any pictures of Hobie Pro Anglers with larger downrigger a mounted?  Well, larger than the lake troll.  Looking for something with a brake as well.

Thanks in advance

I've mounted a Scotty Lake-Troll downrigger on my 13' Trident, and a Scotty Depthmaster and a Cannon Laketroll on my 13' Revolution, and the Cannon Laketroll is definitely my favorite downrigger. I posted a description of how I mounted the Cannon Laketroll on my Revolution, and why I mounted it that way, at http://www.yakfisher.net/smffiles/index.php?topic=9918.0 . This post should help you figure out how to mount a large downrigger on your Pro Angler.

Thanks for the reply.  So many options to choose from for mounting.

Working on a few ideas. I'll post something if I can get it done soon

One of the beauties of having a kayak is their diversity.  I would advise that your mount be easy on and off.  Perhaps using a rod holder for mounting the platform.  Then you just drop the downrigger into the rod holder and you are off.  When you don't want a downrigger, there's no big drama to take it off that way.

Anyways, I have a pro angler and a downrigger, but it's a small one and you want info on the larger sizes.

Tote has an electric downrigger on his hobie.  It's not a PA, but still, I bet he's got plenty of ideas he could send your way.

Fish junkie had two on his 12 ft Pro angler. think they where on tracks with gear heads. scotty lake trollers. They where on the flat surfaces on each side of your feet when peddling.
