I've searched through some old posts but didn't quite find what I was looking for. I'm looking for a crab recipe. Something simple... Typically I boil my crabs with salt, old bay and half an onion. I'm looking to try steaming. Any recommendations???? I've heard of people steaming in beer.. I really like the idea. However, I can't imagine dumping my favorite drink in a pot and lighting it on fire. :smt002  How much beer do I use???

Any other simple recipes?

Muir beach has been producing good amounts of crab!

Well I will share you mine. A little tedious but delish.

1st is the Spicy Oyster Sauce Sauteed.

Boil the crabs less than 10 min (you dont want them too cook since you will still need to sauteed) with cut in half lemon and whole onion. Trust me meat is sweeter and taste better.

removed the back cut into 4 (middle then another)
Minced Ginger and Garlic (Lots).
Heat oil then add the Ginger and Garlic
Once brownish add half to 1 cup of oyster sauce (depends on how many crabs)
1 cup of water
1 spoon of brown sugar.

Bring it to boil.
Add the crabs and stir.

Sauce thickens add Jalapeno (removed the seeds to its not too spicy) and grunions (onion leaves)
Walah!!!
