What kind of food preparation work? I can help with that,  I will bring a couple rods just incase.

We have Marv(Schicken) bringing his pro-smoked meats for lunch but we need a few side dishes to go with it. We need people to make a big green salad and something else like potato salad or beans for about 60 people. Preferably made from scratch with love. Also, we need someone who could bring some kind of dessert. If you bring the receipt for the ingredients, we can get you reimbursed. I will be too swamped with doing breakfast.

Before running out and just grabbing something post up here first so we don't double up on anything. Let's coordinate before doing anything.

When you buy something for HOW the receipt needs to be clean. That is, there can be nothing on it for personal use. Only what was bought for HOW.

We will have the full number of the participants by Monday afternoon. That is we will know just about how many we will be feeding. Until then we need to hold off on purchases.

Thank you Sarge and Cloe. Everyone loved the noodle dish last time. Well if you someone is willing to make a side dish for the veterans, please post up. I guess we won't have you run out and spend a bunch of money on potatoes just yet. Apparently we still have a little more calculating and coordinating to do.

My wife is coming with me so we should be there right before the participants show up since we are coming from Ft Bragg. 

She will organize and make sure all the waivers are signed and help with lunch or whatever else is needed.  She definitely will not be one of the "pros" offering fishing advice. 

Still haven't decided if I was bringing my kayak or not but wanted to check if this was one of the lakes that requires inspections and if so what's the process.  My kayaks usually only see salt water so trying to learn the process. 

It does need the inspection. It needs to be dry, free of sand inside and out. They will ask where it was last used. Salt is a good thing in that case.

The registration help will be great.
