And windy and, predictably, the electricity was out most of yesterday, and expecting more of the same today. Glad I've got a standby generator...
I don't like stuff that sucks.

Patrick and I did some  preventative  measures ...just in case :smt012

The flood control channel behind the shop hasn't been dredged in decades!! All the trash and cat-tails lodge in the trees that grow in the canal and create beaver dams. We'd rather get it done in daylight instead of getting the "call" later tonight.

The water doesn't get up to the building but the big trucks (mostly kids) racing up and down the flooded street create huge wakes that ride all the way up to the doors.

Too Bad Red Dog isn't around anymore to join in the possible festivities....

Tell me about it! I think it rained more last night at my new place than it did all last weekend. Runoff everywhere. I'm going to buy gas now for the genny, not enough sun for the solar power. My 4 mile dirt road was fun this morning. :smt012
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Got 4" in the gauge since last night. 9" total since last Friday night.
River is coming up fast again!

Hell yeah! The water at, on and under the houses on the Graton ranch where I live are beyond description, but its getting handled and might as well have fun at it. But the commute this morning.... we started a job at Dillon Beach today, way up on the bluff, badass empty house, I came in by Valley Ford and the water was over the road all over, but on one stretch I pushed the Tundra to the limit. I pushed a bow-wave for 100 yards, way up on the doors, huge wake, if I knew it was that deep there was no way Id do it but I was committed and slogged thru, passing a big tall truck in the deepest, we had the same laugh. Coming back the roads were closed off, had to go n on 1 to Bodega, awesome ride.
