As usual, NCKA comes through strong ! This is AMAZING information - thank you, everyone !!! I know that $100 won't really go far or put together a comprehensive tackle box by any means, but with everyone's help, I'll at least be making the purchases count rather than buying useless gear. Thanks again, everybody ! I was reading this while walking through Wally World this morning and threw a few spinnerbaits, and a couple bags of Roboworms and Senkos into the basket to get me going.

@reelfish - no worries. I've always been a CnR bass fisherman so spawn or no spawn, they always go back.

@ifishalot - that would be great ! I fished Hennessey for Crappie last year but haven't seriously chased bass there in ages. I'd love to learn the ropes from someone in the know. Thanks for the offer !

Thanks again, all !

black "Crème Spoiler Shad" is my go to swim bait. I have caught rock cod, trout, Bass, stripers and yesterday a 24" yellow cat fish! Best in clear water.
I only want to be the man my dog thinks I am.

Can't say enough about Senkos, one of the easiest baits to fish.

If you are on a budget, don't get the Yamamoto Senkos they are expensive.  I would look to the Yum Dingers.  They come in roughly the same sizes and decent colors and are half the price.  I no longer purchase Yamamoto baits.

As mentioned above...I would go with some Roboworms and the Yum Dingers (senko replacements)...a few packs of hooks and weights.  I would start with rigging the Yum Dingers weightless and drop shotting or texas rigging the robo worms.

Also if you are interested in some jigs or buzz baits...I'll send some to you free, if you just pay shipping.

I'd start with couple packs of Roboworms and a spook!  Never had any luck with senkos in all the years I've bass fished, but roboworms has been my go to worm.

Oh yeah...and crankbaits!
