Can’t say it was a good day can’t say it was a bad day but it was better than work.
Frank and I launch at Oakland airport bay farm island you know chucks beach
At 700am.We paddle out about one mile the sonar was full of crap or fish if you’re dreamer so I thought that it was worth a try so I drop anchor.

Frank and I fished there for about 1 hour then the boats stared to stack up
Farther out so we paddle out to fish with the fleet about one more mile.
The sturgeon where there I counted 3 from what I herd on the radio
But me and frank came up short will try some other day like next week. :smt006

Hey Duane and Frank.... A nice day, relaxing SF Bay scenery, 5 miles or more of paddling exercise --- it all beats a day of work or chores for sure!

At least we know the dinos are there.  Coastside reports show nice fish being caught there regularly, and that's why you'll find no less than 10 boats there on any midweek day.  That place produces and will for one of us kayakers someday.

Last Wednesday, I made a last minute effort to surprise and meet you guys on my small beach. :smt002
I didn't know you guys had postponed the trip.  No big deal.

I went out and joined the fleet.  It was beautiful being out in the bay in FAC conditions.  A few OAK Airport regulars caught sturgeon, but no love for me again.

My dino skunk is still alive and well, but I know it will die someday! :evil1:

Our day was a diffenate do again. Frustrating but what a great day to spend a Friday on the Bay with a bro fishing. Saw a couple of the elusive sturgies pulled up by PB but the only love we got was from our friends the Leopard shark, Bat Ray and King fish.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but:

That is a nice kingfish! At least the picture makes it look like one of the biggest kingfish I've ever seen.

I'm posting this from work, on a Saturday, and I'll be here tomorrow....so I guess ANY fish looks good to me right now.  :smt010
