Spear Fishing the North Coast

Got a new spear and looking to get out when the water calms down.  Anyone up for some spearfishing.  I'm in Santa Rosa.  I'm new at it but ready to get some more fish in the kayak.

How new are you?
If you are a beginner I would recommend taking a free diving class.
It will take a lot of the guess work out of the equation and teach you some very valuable safety tips.

I have ab dived for years and used a sling before and have speared a few fish last year and one fare size ling.
