standard poodle

Anyone here breed standard poodles? 
Family decided to get a dog and Wife and son out voted me and want a Mini.  I would rather have a Standard though if I can help it.

Nice choice Standards are great dogs eager to please athletic and good-natured. Just like me My mother's last dog was purchased from a breeder in Oroville and was very large and dignified.

Labradoodle will be my next pup pal... So cool and easy going...

This is Doodlebug.  Couldn't ask for a better dog. She's  a bit timid ( scared of her own reflection sometimes )but a great alarm dog, and awesome fishing and cuddle buddy!

We have a mini Australian Labradoodle.

I would advise against a Mini or a toy.. They have a high pitch bark.

They are also very smart dogs, and are too smart for their own good.  Maybe dumb it down and get a labrardootle. 

Poodles have intelligence of a 2 year old human.  They also go through terrible 2's.

Thanks guys.  Wife and son are firm on a mini.  I know about the high pitch bark ofa mini so hopefully a standard shows up in the woodwork before the wufe and kid bring one home which could be this week

Sorry.. Did not mean to offend you or anyone.   I prefer a more mellow/dumber dog. Labs are not the smartest of the breeds but they are lovable.
