Kelly isn't being given personnel control, fortunately.He was given WAY too much control in Philadelphia under the assumption that since he recruited kids at Oregon and New Hampshire, he'd obviously be good at managing personnel in the NFL. Baalke ks still the final say on personnel, for what its worth.

York has put himself in a no win situation.  Kelly has all the cards, if it goes south, point fingers at Baalke.  If it works your gold.  York can't afford tog et rid of another coach in three seasons, so Kelly defacto has him by the gonads.

Well, Kelly certainly was more impressive than Tomsula in his introductory press conference today.
Of course he danced around all critical questions, but with a fair amount of grace and a bit of humor.
Too early to tell what is going to happen, but it seems that the press is in his corner - for now.
Gonna be an interesting journey for Niners fans.

Sadly, I think this says more about Tomsula than Kelly.

As if California isn't suffering from a drought already, SF will definitely be exceeding the accepted threshold. Raider fans understand this. And Niner fans are faithful... It'll be awhile.
