PacificNalu Diver Ariel Merhav New World Record Vermillion Rockfish 10.83 lbs!

Looks like a Monk fish. Ling Cod's big nasty cousin.
I just know that because I'd see them at the Pike Place market when I lived in Seattle. I'm assuming  he got that fish up north there somewhere. Super scary looking up close. Good tasting fish too.

I think I remember seeing a mount of the AK ling at a sportsman show in the booth of the charter company.
