Looks like a Monk fish. Ling Cod's big nasty cousin.
I just know that because I'd see them at the Pike Place market when I lived in Seattle. I'm assuming  he got that fish up north there somewhere. Super scary looking up close. Good tasting fish too.

naw...those are only an atlantic ocean fish.  no way lings or cabs get to 60 - 80 lbs.
even old records don't lie. different ocean altogether
