Eric, thanks for all the information that you provided on the Friday outing. Had a great day on the water. I'm sure I'll put that information to use. Always look forward to Shelter Cove. See you on the water again soon.

I'm back to reality after a few days at the cove! GS has always been a place of firsts for me. GS3 was my first taste of kayak fishing the salt, and GSX was my first ab dive. I and the rest of our usual GS crew had a great time. Thanks to Eric and everyone who make this a first rate event!

My kids and I almost made a bonzai run on Saturday but Kylee, who usually jumps at the chance to "hang out with daddy's friends", decided Saturday morning that she just wanted to chill at home.

Blubie and I had a great time! although im ashamed to say I pussed out on the fishing and Blubie got wetter than I did. but Blueie also dosent smell like crab and crab traps and crab bait.

Zilla cooked it up, and we sampled a little, but took it to the potluck.

I am beyond stoked about winning the gaff as you could probably tell by the huge smile on my face in the photo!!! I feel so lucky to have gotten such a badass and beautiful piece of art and will definitely take great care and cherish it forever! Can't wait to see what it looks like with some blood on it! Thank you so much and hopefully I'll meet you one of these days!
