You can't pass out like that and not get messed with!  I almost want to drive back down!

I had a good time meeting all you fish molesters! And to make things easier I am know as formerly slatroni. I have decided to change my screen name to LBSteve. Its a lot easier to say when people ask "whats your screen name"
I went back out to the fore bay around 1:00. I paddled from the boat ramp to the round buoys and found the school. I got 2 in the boat and lost 2. CPRed them 14" shakers. Good Times!

Fixed!

Either Alien or Slatroni broke the interwebz. I split their replies into another topic that can't be opened.  :smt001

LOL!  It's always a great time hanging with my Muggle fam!  I arrived on Friday night and the usual spot was strangely quiet.  It was because they were occupying a neighboring site and sitting by the fire.

Saturday - I took my time getting up then hung around with my bros until it was launch time.  Everyone fished the Forebay but I took my yak and drove to SLR.  I was on the water by 8:30am and had the whole reservoir to myself.  I trolled all day, at various depths, and although I marked a ton a fish, I couldn't find any takers.  I tried all the lures I had since I didn't have any minnows.  At 3pm, I drop my lure down to 100' using my down rigger and start to head in.  Half way to my car, I finally hook onto my one and only bite - a 22" striper.  I reset my troll and try the area again for nada.  I load up my yak and head over to the Forebay where the party is at.

Before I could even park my ride, the homies were already talking shit.  I pull out the Jameson Black and Coconuts and it was ON!  Thank you to all the cooks and everyone that made this FNC an AWESOME one!  I had fun...

So warm and beautiful all weekend... Just amazing...  :smt007 :smt007 Although Emma tried sooooo hard to get even 1 fish... The skunk got her :smt005 I ended up with 1 legal fish 18.75" Didn't count as caught though... Saw a cormorant dive and came up with it in it's mouth. Spit it out (to big to hork it down I guess :smt044 Fish was stunned and flopping on the surface so, I paddled over and picked it up and put it on the stringer where it rallied and went crazy :smt083 Cleaned it and put it on Ice for my mom who showed up later (6pmish) Pat gave her filets from his fish too. we had a fire in my newly made fire pit. She told me I could drop it off at her house on the way home! (fire pit)  Went to drop it by in Patterson to find a note that she went to the Casino and to leave it on the porch....  :smt004 I ended up with 3 shakers 14-15" and 1 largemouth about 8". Tough out there like awards ceremony trip.... Will post the legal to show pictures later when I find the camera in the bottom of the car.  :smt005 Food, Awesome :smt007 Company, the best :smt007 Can't wait till next year :smt006

We were the last out and made sure it was spotless, closed the gate after chasing off the day use folks...

great times everyone!! Never a dull moment especially when Andy is around  :occasion14: . It was awesome hanging/chilling/fishing.

Rocky has been tired since we got home yesterday from all the running around and meeting everyone. Thanks for putting up with him and getting him tired out :) That dog Zoey has a ton of energy!!

Only person he barks at is Craig the instigator. haha

Thanks for everyone that cook. All the food was da bomb!!

I was looking for the donation jar for the campsite. Let me know how to donate. Thanks Pat for setting everything up.

Looking forward to the next meet with all you fine gentlemen and ladies and doggies. :D
