Anyone have a Humminbird XNT-9-DI-T transducer installed in the scupper of their Trident 13? It barely fits in the scupper, but I have no idea how to mount it due to its weird dimension. The mounting point on the transducer is on one end.

While the hole in the scupper is in the middle.

If I place the mounting point of the transducer directly below the hole in the scupper, the back half of the transducer would stick out of the scupper. I need ideas.

I am curious too. But that is an expensive transducer! I struck out googling for a picture of that transducer installed in a scupper. :smt009

That's not the one designed for the trident.

The trident one has like a threaded pvc tube on the transducer you insert through the scupper and has a nut on top.

Yes, I have the one you are talking about, XTH-9-20-P. But that is a regular dual beam transducer. I need a down imaging transducer, hence fishcomb mentioned the XPTH-9-DI--T.

My bad, misread the OP! I see the difficulty now. I don't know if it would work here, but I made a custom mount of a similar transducer to that one for my predator. I used 1" pvc if I remember right. The mechanism attaches on the inside if the pipe then I drilled two holes in the pvc to attach it with a bolt.

Maybe if you put a 90 on it, cut the bottom part of the pvc 90 to move it forward? It's hard to describe without pics but hopefully it makes some sense.

wrong transducer...  this one... forget model no#

Wrong transducer indeed. That is the XTH-9-20-P pictured, which I already own. But it is a dual beam transducer. I need a down imaging transducer.

I think with the scupper mounted transducers the DI won't work. I just bought a hummingbird 688. There's another thread here about the scupper mount in the Predator, which I have. You can exchange the transducer but the DI wont work. So I'm going to try a hull mount. But then the the temp wont work but I can live that.

As far as I'm concerned they posted a DI transducer that looks like it will fit and that is the issue at hand. These threads can be hard to follow sometimes, but this is something we Humminbird users should know. This is the new technology after all. So try not to say no if you don't know.

Your google-fu is weak, grasshopper.  :kungfu You can mount the Humminbird XNT-9-DI-T transducer in the Predator's transducer scupper.

I was able to mount the Humminbird XNT-9-DI-T transducer in the scupper of my Trident 13 using a 3/4" PVC pipe and conduit clamp. Just in time for fishing this weekend! :kick
