OK looks like we got a few and looks like everybody will be fishing a diff. area. To raise the excitement a little post where you are fishing and What you hope to catch and if you want to TT go ahead.

I'll be fishing the Russian on Sat. in search of a 30" Steelhead.

Sunday I will fish Lake Sonoma or Spring Lake Looking for SMB  and LMB.
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

Im staying local and headed to shag rock to hunt the big point value crappie and the LMB.
I dont get off work until 0900 on sunday morning and my last 2 adventures have been uneventful.
It kind of makes arrogant rantings difficult right now.
sorry mike. Ill make up for it after I capture a 3+ panfish on sunday.

I fished Rancho Seco today. On the water at 10:15, off at 12:10.
Didn't get a bite...but that's ok.
Felt good to be on the water, feels better knowing we are helping a friend. :smt001

Everybody that contributed is a winner in my book. :hello2:  :smt038

Thanks for the opportunity, Al

Adam AKA fishhunter just called in a 19" LMB and a 19" trout. He will post pics tomorrow.

I got 2 undersized stripers so I think that means Adam is in the lead so far.

Had one of those days that fishermen have occasionally.
Got off work late this morning, after loading the kayak my very dependable volvo sw (with over 200,000), decides it needs to rest about 20 minutes before we go. Then I get to shag rock and find 7 bass boats assualting it from every conceivable angle, and why not, its late sunday morning.
The bite was non existant, for both largemouth and crappie hunters, which there was plenty of both.
Then IT happened, the 20oz mocha incident, in the milk crate, everything, nuff said.
The snags and entangled lines go without saying.  I did get a hook up, but Im not in my fishing yak and when I get the fish to the boat I realize that there isnt a measuring tape sticker where it should be. It wasnt impressive but it was a fish. It had a big hole, from a previous encounter, so I hooked the scale though it and found it to be 2# 12oz.  Took 2 shots and got the fish back in the water. Only then to find 1 picture totally bungled and the other missed the scale altogether.
but I didnt drown.
