Any reused or recycled parts going on there? Isn't that kindof the whole idea with Burning Man?

That thing looks badass though, I gotta say...
I'm using as much recycled steel as I can along the way.  Sourcing a lot of parts off eBay, Craigslist, and a company that buys out other companies closing down.  As for the build concept, it's all about art.  Some art requires the use of new stuff.  The "new" stuff I'm using is merely out of a state of reliability (the power portion of the build).  The main concept is originality & this is the heart of that concept.  Lots of other art cars are a store bought vehicle or golf cart with some "art" attached to it.

For those who want to see a few of these art cars & mutant vehicles in person are invited to attend the 2016 unSCruz regional burning man event mothers day weekend (fri-sun) in Watsonville at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds.

Don't wanna be the pickle in the punch, but is that thing gonna turn?
Just thinking that two live axles with wide tires is gonna make it want to bulldoze.

You got skills that's no doubt, where were you when I needed some minor mods to my trailer
My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Update:

Got it rolling this past weekend for the first time following the completion of some complex fabrication parts like the control arms & hydraulic tank.  All hydraulic fittings & hoses in thanks to hours spent with the nice folks at 'The Hose Shop' @ Santa Cruz - though my wallet thanks them less since quality hydraulic fittings/hoses are $$$.

Kart holds a 3-7 mph speed @ engine idle & 15+ mph at higher engine rpm's.  TONS of fun to drive around the yard despite its lack of suspension.  YES, it turns but that may become a little different once the trailer is installed (may need added weight on the front later).  Decided to put it thru a test pulling scenario so I coupled my Toyota Tundra to it  :smt003  At idle, and mind you this kart is about 9' long & has a 15hp engine, it pulled my Tundra with NO PROBLEMS ... at IDLE.  Actually, it built up less than 1000psi of hydraulic pressure to get the load rolling and dropped to about 600 psi to maintain the pull.  Point of reference - thy hydraulic pump on the kart is capable of close to 4000psi and i was at IDLE engine speed.  :smt007  Yeah, it should work for what I intend to be doing!

Here's a recent pic of it after the first run.  TONS of work left to do & only 4 months to do it in - need to form the body, electrical, floor pans, disassembly, paint, re-assembly, fitting/re-plumbing & the custom trailer ... oh, and a full radical lighting package.   :smt003
