Some of us were just discussing this yesterday. The OFB FnC is one of a kind because it is the largest gathering of NCKA'ers that don't have an agenda. If a member heads down to the FishNChill it is for the sole purpose of fishin' and chillin'. NOBODY is there just to win a prize or to participate in a raffle. EVERYONE is there to simply hang out, eat, and fish if the weather cooperates. There's no schedule, so you can fish, hike, sleep, or whatever you want to do for as long as you'd like.

Exactly. .which is why Im always bum that I missed it. That is the direction I would like to see more of in NCKA in next year. I'm over seeing guys trying to make a name for themselves. If you want to do something within this club but have an agenda,  then this ain't the place for you.

Another upside to the 'chillin' portion is it gives the sponsors a great break.  We have to admit that there are some GREAT sponsors who take REALLY good care of our group thru donations.  These handfull of sponsors get "hit up" for donations via the 20+ (and growing) number of local tournaments/contests that happen just here within NCKA territory.  I, personally, would much rather attend a "chill" vs. a tournament and not dilute the few sponsors that exist for our sport.

I will be moving the F&C forward here in Sac area.... Look forward to the MBF chill type of fun at the fore bay! Shenanigan heavy, just out living the life! Share the grub, love, time.... Moving forward simpler
