Hey guys,

Looking for ideas on how others rig their Adventure or Revo 16 kayaks. Anyone have photos showing how they mounted their FF, Rods, etc?

Sorry about putting all of these in separate posts, but when I tried posting them all together, it wouldn't go thru. Let me know if you want more details about any of these things, or if there is anything else that I can help with.

I've got a 2013 Adventure, and here it is set up for trolling multiple rods...

And I keep a camelback inside the middle hatch, so I don't have to carry water bottles...

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

Very nice setup Nowhereman. Where are you keeping fish once you catch them? Front hatch?

He really likes fresh sashimi. Like, really really fresh. If you know what I mean.
Thresher in avatar and Soupfin Shark in signature both caught and pic taken by me.

I don't catch any fish, so that's not a problem...

Actually, there is plenty of room behind the seat for rockfish, lingcod, and such. The front hatch would be the ideal place to store fish (inside a drybag), but it makes me nervous opening that hatch on the water. But that's something I might take another look at. I'd like to keep the deck as clear as possible.

Thanks NoWhereMan!  I'm going to install my camelback ASAP.  This is why I enjoy looking at rigged kayaks...

No, that's my wife... If she was onboard, no fish would make it back to shore...

This is how I planned to rig my Revo 16:
My Revo 13 is rigged in a similar way, and it is very versatile

2x YackAttack GT90 4 inch rails on both sides of the front
  - R side fishfinder with rail/ramball adapter + ram/ff adapter
  - L side usually kept clear, but I can add a rodholder if I am trolling
2x Yack attack GT90 12 inch rails with backing plates behind the seat
-These are for additional rod holders or down rigger or vizpole etc. mounted to
  - Downrigger is mounted to 2x mighty mounts which then slide into the rail
  - I have trolled with a downrigger using this setup on my 13, and love it.

The rails hit my crossbars while I am transporting the kayak, but I haven't had any issues with that other than scuffed up crossbars (I don't care about that).

You'll be sorry that you asked...

Btw, if you use a rail system instead of my DIY inside-the-cupholder mount, then it would be much simpler.
